Clarely supports up to 2 parents and 8 children per family. Connections — caregivers, grandparents, babysitters, co-parents' households — are separate and have no hard limit. If your family exceeds these counts, email us at hello@getclarely.com and we'll figure it out.
Yes. You can set a custody schedule, share a read-only co-parent view via a link, and assign drives and sitter coverage across both households. Each parent manages their own account — no shared login required.
Absolutely. During setup, tap "Just me" to skip the second-parent row. You can always add one later in the Family tab.
Clarely is an iPhone app. It can also run on iPad in compatibility mode. Android is not currently planned.
Subscription & Billing
The 14-day free trial gives you full access to every feature. You subscribe through Apple when you start the trial, but nothing is charged until the trial ends — and we remind you before that happens. Cancel any time during the trial and you won't be charged. If the trial ends without a subscription, your data stays on your device.
$9.99 per month, or $79.99 per year (save about $40). One subscription covers your entire household — there are no per-person fees. Current pricing is always shown in the app before you subscribe.
No — one subscription covers your whole family network. When you invite your partner (or a co-parent or grandparent in a different household) with an invite link from Settings → Share with my partner, they get full access through your subscription automatically. If you use Apple Family Sharing, members of your Apple family are covered that way too. Nobody you share with ever needs to pay separately.
Subscriptions are managed entirely through Apple. Go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, find Clarely, and tap Cancel. You'll keep access through the end of your current billing period. We don't handle cancellations or refunds directly — those go through Apple.
Refund requests are handled by Apple, not by us. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to submit a refund request through Apple's standard process.
Features
Tap the camera button and photograph any invitation — paper or on-screen. Clarely sends the image to an AI service that extracts the date, time, location, and other details, then pre-fills the event form for you to review and confirm. Always double-check the extracted details before saving.
From the Family tab, find your caregiver's card and tap Share. This generates a private link with a read-only view of relevant events. The link works in any browser — your caregiver doesn't need to download Clarely. You can revoke the link at any time.
Your data lives on your device and syncs through your personal iCloud (Apple CloudKit) — we don't run our own servers that store it. When you use invitation scanning, the image — plus your family members' first names and ages, so the AI can suggest who an event is for — is sent to an AI service (Google Gemini) through our secure proxy. Typed and voice entries send your family members' first names and a summary of today's schedule to our AI partner (Groq) the same way. We don't store any of this on our servers, and we never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
In the app, go to Settings → Privacy & Sharing → Erase all data to permanently erase everything stored on your device. To delete your account entirely — including your Sign in with Apple connection and any data synced through iCloud — use Settings → Privacy & Sharing → Delete account.
